HOW DO YOU FINANCE YOUR MUSIC SCHOOLS AND PROGRAMS ?

The Playing For Change Foundation relies entirely on the contributions and donations of its supporters to keep its mission alive. Donation from individuals represent about 60%, 11% from other foundations or companies and 25% from fundraising events.

HOW IS THE MONEY SPENT ?

Direct program expenses represent over 65%, Administrative costs 22% and 13% for fundraising and marketing. Our cost to raise one Dollar in 2015 was 15¢.

WHAT’S THE IMPACT ?

Over 1200 children from 10 different countries have access to music and arts education through our schools and programs. Beyond the positive impact of music on the lives of these children, we provide a job to musicians and administrators in different communities around the world.

HOW CAN I HELP ?

There are many ways to participate, from spreading the word about our work in real life and social media, to hosting an event or by becoming an official sponsor or ambassador.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED ?

The PFC Foundation operates in 10 different countries, counting over 50 teachers, admins and staff members. Our main office is located in Santa Monica, CA, a few blocks away from where Roger Ridley started the song Stand By Me, whose success has been the starting point of our engagement for creating positive change through music education.
